She made her debut in 1993 with the song Otome no Policy ("Maiden's Policy"), ending theme for the Sailor Moon R anime. At the time her name was written as 石田よう子, but it was later changed to 石田陽子. In 2000, she changed it again to 石田燿子, which she uses to this day.
