The former NEWS member will be playing the owner of a funeral home in the drama “Ending Planner (Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata)". The main character inherits the business from his deceased father, and will have to deal with the deaths of homicide as well as suicide victims. According to Tokyograph, Yamapi's character will grow as he learns and deals with the unraveling lives of the dead.
Too much morbidity for your taste? Fret not, there will be some romance thrown in between the funeral director and a crime detective! (Because what drama series is complete without some sparks in the air?) No word yet on who will be playing Tomohisa's love interest.
The drama will begin shooting in December, with a scheduled slot of Thursday nights at 9:00PM on TBS this coming January.
