MTV Iggy has asked fans to support their new favorite band in the world during the past 6 weeks through voting and we finally have a winner.
The groups participating included 2NE1, Far East Movement,
Bomba Stereo, Gyptian, Atif Aslam, La Vida Boheme, Zowie, Yuna, Ximena, and Ghostpoet.
Finally after such a long wait it has been announced that 2NE1 has been crowned as the best new band in the world 2011.
However, an hour before the official ending of the votes a link appeared on twitter revealing 2NE1 as the winner creating confusion among fans because of the unexpected announcement.
It has also been revealed that there will be a concert at Times Square with the winner and few other artists where fans can attend filling this form.
Congratulations 2NE1 for following Big Bang as winners on MTV and we hope that MTV IGGY can reveal the reasons behind the early announcement of the winner.
